Pure Planet has been named among the 10 most exciting new UK tech firms by the Sunday Times, in this weekend’s Tech Track shortlist.
The Bath-based renewable energy supplier was this weekend featured as one of 10 ‘Ones to Watch’ in the 19th annual edition of The Sunday Times Tech Track 100.
The awards identify the top-performing technology companies, from the fastest growing to the biggest.
Brands listed Fast Track’s ‘Ones to Watch’ in previous years include now-household names such as Revolut, recently valued at £1.2bn.
Pure Planet made the final list of 10 having being selected on the strength of its disrupting digital-first platform that allows members to buy clean energy with a single zero-mark up tariff.
Members receive 24/7 customer service through Pure Planet’s AI assistant WattBot and can swap tips to live a greener life through the online community.
Launched in 2017 by entrepreneurs Andrew Ralston, Chris Alliott and Steven Day, Pure Planet provides 100% clean, renewable energy to more than 110,000 members.
